Conversion of 50Hz or 60Hz interlaced formats to frame based 24Hz video using a proprietary application of Ph. C Motion compensation. The video to film mode has been designed to optimally convert 'video' originated material (for example from a DV camcorder) to true frame based formats. By producing this frame based motion profile it is possible to seamlessly insert video originated sequences into film originated material and can produce the best possible image quality for celluloid or D-Cinema film output for screenings and general release.
